You are one cell. Your real body is the lineage you leave behind.

Find your next meal.

Prey absorb golden nutrients. Predators bite green grazers on contact. Energy runs down even while you rest.

Make more of yourself.

Press Space or Spawn. Start at 66 energy; division spends 48. Offspring find food and reproduce on their own.

Change with the ocean.

Every 34 seconds, choose a mutation for your whole lineage. Hunters get faster, prey get wiser, and the water changes.

Leave something living.

Survive eight generations with at least 8 living cells. If you die, become a descendant. Lose every cell and go extinct.
